Dr. Hasan Mahmood Al Bastaki

Dr. Hasan Mahmood Al Bastaki serves as Managing Director of Manara Developments Company B.S.C. (Closed). Dr. Al Bastaki served as Chief Executive Officer of Amar Holding Company B.S.C. (C) and served as an Executive Vice President of Operations, IT & Support Services Group at Al Salam Bank – Bahrain. Dr. Al Bastaki has over 30 years’ experience of working in the Kingdom of Bahrain and North America. In the Government sector, Dr. Hasan served as Assistant Under Secretary for Finance & Administration affairs in the Ministry of Education, then as Secretary General of the Bahrain Centre of Studies and Researches. His Private sector experience includes senior management and specialist positions with Ernest & Young. In the academic world, Dr. Al Bastaki served Head of Accounting Department, Dean, College of Business Administration and Vice President of Finance and Administration at the University of Bahrain. Dr. Al Bastaki is an Arbitrator and Expert at the Bahrain-based GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre. He Served as a Member of the Bahrain Tender Board at Royal Decree from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Al Bastaki holds a Ph.D in Accounting from the University of North Texas, USA.
