Mr. Aaref Hejres

As a professionally qualified Architectural Engineer with 18 years of experience, Mr. Hejres has built up a solid reputation. Mr. Aaref Hejres served as Chief Executive Officer and as Managing Director of Diyar Al Muharraq Bahrain’s biggest mixed-used development project. He was responsible for achieving every aspect of the landmark development's vision from the initial inception and master planning through the design, delivery and the final marketing and branding of this unique venture. Mr. Hejres has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in strategy, coordination and liaison, architecture and engineering. Before joining Diyar Al Muharraq, Mr. Hejres was the Chairman of EMAAR Engineering W.L.L., where his expertise and leadership developed into a leading architectural and engineering consultancy across many significant projects, including the design of residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional and recreational buildings. Prior to this, he was an Engineer in the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF).

Mr. Hejres is a Member of the American Institute of Architecture, Urban Land Institute, Bahrain Society of Engineers and founder and member of Entrepreneur Organization. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami (Florida, US)
